I am surprised there was no coverage of the Knott's breakdown, apparently Cedar fairs (they own knotts) is shutting down all their copies of the ride as they investigate.

Nice update msswan! I love seeing DL decorated for Halloween. I wish we had a dedicated Villains Meet N Greet in WDW. I am shocked at how much is still being refurbed in DL and CA. I thought once Carsland was finished that would be the end of refurbs for a little while.

End of summer is the standard time to do refurbishments, but you also have to take into account that these projects are being mandated by the government since they probably had to lay out a timetable of installation for the handrails so OSHA wouldn't fine them into the ground.

Even then, the only major thing closed right now is Indy, everything else is either a minor ride or dead space (like Carnation gardens).

I didn't even know Indy was down. Is that a lengthy refurb or just cosmetics?

I think it's a combo of general clean up and the expected addition of handrails inside since no one wants to deal with people falling into a hard pit of electronics and light bulbs.

Sunday is no longer an early admission day for Disneyland Park, instead Disney California Adventure is now available for early admission on Sundays for eligible guests.

The new schedule is:
Disneyland Extra Magic Hour/Magic Morning Hours - Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays
Disney California Adventure Extra Magic Hour - Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays

That isn't really new, for a long time it has almost always been Sunday/Weds as the days where no one gets in before the posted opening time as those are the slowest days of the week.

No more hose! It's tiring now. But they didn't have an update last week because I think the author was attending the Epcot's 30th anniversary. Even I was wondering where it was until they said in the update.

It looks like DLR had another accident last week, I just saw a report that a worker was hurt by a car on SM. Nothing fatal, but getting hit by a car would suck.

That seems overly complicated to string lights without bulbs and add them afterwards.

Just for that it gets the hose filled with broken glass bulbs!
