That's half of it, now who can get the other half?

Yes pieces of it are from the old Skull Rock, some of the riggings and mast's and various other knick knacks. But where did the body come from? Heres a hint: It wasn't from the park.

Cool then! I've never been in the Matterhorn. I was based on what I heard from friends who worked there.

Here's a great picture though!

Thats the picture I saw that got me started on the whole trivia pursuit, no pun intended. I went to that site, which I linked in the earlier post, and saw all of the wonderful bits of trivia and want to know more and more. I bought the 101 books for both land and world and a couple of other too, and went to site after site. I absorb info like a vaccum. Unless it is or was school related then forget about it, I can't remember half of what one teacher was say let alone the rest.

are the 101 books really that helpful in learning about this kind of stuff? I figured it would be just as informative to use hiddenmickeys.org
why doesnt anyone update that site anymore?

well the 101 is great if you are taking a trip to the parks, you can read it on the plane or read it at nite before you go to sleep during your visit. The author is writing or has written a new one too, I have to look for it.

Ok it has been a week since the question was posted so here it is.

The ship was created from a poster for the movie. The ship on it was a cartoonish looking one and they thought it would work well in the ride so they adapted that design to the ride. The ship was shorter than in the movie and more cartoonish like the poster. They also took queue's from the actual book about neverland. So it was kind of a combo of things that built the ship.

That one was an easy one.

Okay, I got a trivia question: What current ride was originally proposed as Disneyland's first roller coaster?

I'm thinking Casey Junior. I'm glad it's just a fun little train instead of a rollercoaster so all the kids can ride. It's a fun way to see Storybookland too. Then again I may be completely wrong!

Here is one:
What part of Disneyland was dedicated July 24, 1966 and who with there do dedicate it with Walt?

That would be New Orleans Square. And the then Mayor of New Orleans was there with him.

I know that becuause I have heard the track of the dedication right here on Subsonic Radio!
