I'm guessing you and your family all made it safely to Mars and back without visiting the garbage can on the way out?! ;)
Hmmmmmmm, good point, I hadn't thought of that. C'mon, Len90 spill the beans: did you spill the beans after riding Mission: Space?

Here's the huge advert they put out for the show.

Each letter rotates to reveal 3 other images (of families and kids appearing to have fun and the usual)

Wow ~ that is big. Is it stationary other than the letters rotating?

Yep, the whole thing is connected to a power outlet in the ground and the inside of the letters rotate (like at the Tomorrowland train station) to change the picture.

Is that why they had those barricades out there this past week as shown in the MiceChat update photos?

I'm not sure, can you post the picture?

The thing is on wheels, so I don't think any construction was required, but if they had to put down a power outlet then it would justify it, but I think the outlets were there in the first place.

With the winds we've been having I was hoping to see it fall over. :D

It's funny how it resembles the old Disneyland sign that they got rid of and sold off on Ebay a few years back.

That's the first thing I thought of too. It almost gave me chills.

I think I remember it sold for over $17,000, and that did not include the $10,000+ shipping as well. I wonder who would spend $27,000+ for that sign and what did they do with it?

Well, that's exactly what the sign is trying to emmulate. Whenever they want to go for the memory path they always pull out the sign shape (look at the 55th stuff).
