Every signature helps out! Thanks for the headline news there Sub - I think the original soundtrack is here if you wanted to do a PSA spot.

Like Sub said - keep the momentum going, post it to other forums you read like mouseplanet and other high traffic sites and the signatures will keep rolling in, it is amazing what one minute spent putting out the post will create for signatures...

I got my wife to sign it, eventhough she's never been to Disneyland. Told her it's what the TTA was based on, and she sign right up. Now going to send it to the rest of my family.
Please keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle until the ride comes to a full and complete stop. Thank you, and enjoy the rest of your day here at Walt Disney World.

I just sent the link to everyone in my address book :D so hopefully that will help. It might also add a few new members to Subsonic cause I gave the station a plug. I have a friend in Michigan that signed up cause I am always talking about how much I love this station, and she has never been to WDW or DL!! She loves the station and now I have her hooked

I also wanted to mention that if people do not put in a last name their names won't be counted. Is there a way to let people who want to sign know that??

not rocket rods, nor florida's version of the Tomorrowland Transit Authority. i would love to see and hear it in all it's old glory with the old 60's-'70
's music track and the old speil, taking back to the future! there is something so charming about the disneyland version with the old good year tires. yes, orlando's version is smoother and more technically advanced, but oh the bumps of the wheels, the screeches of the tires on the trains. i really miss riding around the autopia car area. it really felt like a transport of the future while running around far away from the buildings.

bring it back. it would even be sweet if someone like esquivelle could revamp the soundtrack with a loungelike future feel to it.

Yes, I am sure. I will have to find the article I read on how to make sure online petitions are valid. The same rules apply to any hand signed petition, you can't just use a first name, cause anyone can just write names in. Legally for them to count (the handwritten ones) need to have a full name, address and phone number so they can verify the validity of the person signing the petition. If I can find where I read the article I will copy and paste it on here. But since no-one is running for office and this is not a petition to pass legislation, maybe it won't matter.

I found it: http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/petition/internet.htm

But since this petition is more to get the folks at Disney's attention it may not matter about full names. And I know that G2-4T is doing this for a great cause so I had no problem signing it, and I hope it does get submitted to Disney! Heck I would've given them (Disney) my phone number too if I thought it would help!! I am excited that there are so many signatures on here already. I hope it keeps growing. I don't usually sign online petitions but in this case I believed in what G2-4T is trying to do and I trust G2-4T, so like I said I had no problems signing.

I am sure rambling, do you think it could be the caffeine in the Dunkin Donuts Iced Coffee tonight??????? 8)

bostoncg, I think you're right. I mean, it would be wonderful to have all the last names, but most importantly this is a petition to make Disney aware of how many people care about the Peoplemover and want to see it's return. I sure hope it works!
