I've never been to DL.... Only WDW.... Disney would feel just plain weird with a different CASTLE! (Just like people in the west having the ocean on the wrong side... I mean when the ocean is on your right.. you REALLY should be facing north!
) Not that I wouldn't give it a try....

I cast my vote for Critter Country only because Splash Mountain is my all-time favorite ride at DL since my first time riding it on its opening day as a 7 year old. I love it so much, "Zip-a-dee-doo-dah" is the ringtone for my cellphone
Sometimes the bluest part of the sky seems so far away from us, I guess thats what keeps us striving for it...

I used to feel the same way about DL. I was an abid WDW person but now that I have been out there more often, and I may be going back in August if I don't get this new job (It's a vacation time thing), I have a new found respect for the original. I love so many things about it that you can't get in the World. Things like the coziness of the parks, some people think it is just crowded together but I think it is cozy. The atmosphere in NOS is unbeatable, in my mind. The resturant feel more friendly and less serve it up, scarf it down, and get out. I just feel rushed in the world but not in DL.knedeau wrote:I've never been to DL.... Only WDW.... Disney would feel just plain weird with a different CASTLE!....... You should definatly go out there to get the feel of it. It is something every Disney fan should do, and samething with all west coasters that haven't been to WDW give it a try.

Only one person likes Main Street?!?!
Truthfully, I like Main Street the best because, to me, it was a resemblence to Walt's hometown. It has Walt's appartment, plus some cool music and one of the only lands that hasn't had an "extreme makeover".

I soo agree. Fantasyland will always bring back my youthful imaginations.bostoncg wrote:With all the "reality shows" out there I am glad there is not a RealityLand, cause that would stink!![]()
I don't care how old I get, I will ride Alice, Peter Pan, Snow White, Pinocchio, the Carousel horses, until they change them or remove them, then at that point I will picket outside the gatesI will go with Fantasyland as my fav.
I just hope these rides will remain sacred forever!

my first instinct is to say Adventureland, because it seems so removed from 'everyday' life, but in acuallity I'd have to go with Main Street. It does its job so well, of easing you into the magic where you've discarded the adult world for the time being, and prepared you for the fun and laughter while you are in the park. Then at the end of the day, it does just the opposite, gently eases you back into your everyday persona....much as you hate to go back to being the adult.

I love Tomorrowland, too, and completely agree when you say that it used to be better. I like the design, but they should totally put the People Movers back in. That would be sooo awesome!
But I also like New Orleans Square Because of the music that is usually playing... I love jazz, and I play the trumpet, so that might be it.
But I like Fantasy Land because it has awesome rides that you won't find the likes of anywhere else...
I am torn.

I have to say New Orleans Square, I love standing on the bridge over pirates and looking over towards Splash Mountain and Haunted Mansion and hearing the sound of the Mark Twain River Boat horn and the screams from Splash...it just brings me back and its my favorite sight...besides seeing the castle for the first time when walking down Mainstreet

I wanna go to Disneyland!!
