I think the trolleys will add some great and much needed character to the area...just as the vehicles of Main Street do.
I hope they keep them around. It will be nice for folks that have difficulty walking great distances to be able to get around on the trolley

I agree. Plus it'd be nice like the Main Street USA vehicles and get a chance to relax for a bit on the trolley.

It's nice to see that things in DCA are coming along and that the "Celebrate" decor has been removed...but I'm still waiting for them to take the party hat off the floral Mickey. I never did care for it much.

I love the prices on the menus. OY! Disney!! The only place i know where a family of 4 can spend $70 on every meal and have nothing more then burgers, burritos, or eggs. NO Alcohol!

You and me both. I love Disney but sometimes the tacky decorations are an eyesore.

Can someone explain to me why the Red Car Trolley won't open until 2012? It doesn't seem like construction of the tracks is going to take that long. Of course, I've never been to DCA and I don't fully know the layout of the tracks but I thought they got a bunch of the track done with Hollywood Pictures Backlot and when they are done by Tower of Terror. I know test and adjust can take a while but... 2012?

Someone had mentioned to me before that they think it is because DCA might be holding off opening the trolley until the entrance is updated as well...I don't know if anyone can confirm that though...

It would seem the most logical explanation. It would be out of place if they did it without the entrance being updated.

Aha. I totally forgot about the entrance. Makes sense. One less thing to worry about when they start work on the entrance then.
