DCA Gets A Worthy Overhaul Budget

Hopefully they'll do one for WDW/MKs Rivers. If a live alligator has been spotted in there (Rivers of America is connected to Seven Seas Lagoon which is connected to Bay Lake which has been around since before Walt himself was born) makes you wonder what else might be lurking under the surface...

Oh, that's scary! I hadn't heard about that! Do they still have the canoes on the Rivers of America in WDW? That would be a little freaky to be paddling along and see a alligator swimming alongside the canoe! People might think it was an animatronic alligator and try to pet it Chomp!
And you're right, what else could be in there?!

Trust me, it could be worse. They found an alligator in the women's restroom in the Adventureland/Frontierland bathrooms several years ago.

Thanks. We didn't think we'd see it either. The rumor (and it is just that...a rumor) was that the lift was stuck. Don't know for sure, but it was pretty cool to see. We laughed though and started calling her "no neck".

I don't really know. I saw a couple of pics from that morning, but I'm thinking she went back into her lair shortly afterward. She was supposed to be getting ready for her debut later that night after a 5 month sleep.

Yeah, I knew it too. That park is nowhere near the size of NOS in DL...and around 10,000 people can watch Fantasmic...no way would that many people fit in the Paradise Park area.

Though I have not yet seen the swings in person, judging from that pic, it appears there are lightning strikes. I think that adds a nice touch of theming!

I like the swings a lot and think it is a great addition to the area. It fits the theming perfectly. As for WoC, I am predicting that Disney will be having lots of extra crowd control personnel on hand to deal with the show.

I'm hoping they don't turn it into a deal like Tokyo DisneySea has for their nighttime show - they have a lottery, sometimes you get lucky and see the show, sometimes you don't

Craziness? Yes. Lottery? No.

According to what has been said, there will be Fastpasses. If you hold a Fastpass or a voucher from a dining package, you will be in the "viewing area". If you don't have either one of those, you can line up around the bay...which in my opinion would be worthless unless you have already seen the show. (please note that I am basing this opinion on the fact that Steve Davison (creator of the show) was adamant about not wanting people to see the show from any angle but the designated viewing area since they designed the show to face the "audience". I would follow the direction of the creator any day)

Question about Carsland: Anyone know if the entrance for the new are going to be near Tower of Terror or near Paradise Pier?
