I have to agree with you, the new swings look great.
I would really wish that the red car trolley track construction would wrap up around the ToT before the big summer rush comes in. That area is going to be in bad shape with summer crowds.

I'm with you on that. I hope they're able to at least remove some of the construction walls so that it won't get too jammed packed.

I agree too...it will be interesting to see how the crowds are handled in DCA this summer. Though some of the walls have come down, there are still plenty that will be in place and hopefully the ones around ToT won't be there much longer.
Once WoC opens, evenings in DCA will be a madhouse! No access to Paradise Pier will only make things worse!

This is why I'm hoping to avoid it for a while though, knowing my mom, she'd want to see it when it opens.

Even though I didn't get to be on Subsonic much over the weekend, I did manage to see the update. The swings look great! (there were a couple of awesome night shots in there)
Seeing the car on the track for Radiator Springs Racers is so exciting!!!!

I don't want to go to DCA until both the Swings and WOC are open!

It's great to finally see the the car uncovered on the track. I do notice a lot of similarities to the test track vehicles from the exterior. The swings really look amazing and show how the park is really starting to come together. It should be a great two years of watching it all fill in.

I'm hoping to see some good progress going on in Carsland next January. I'm loving the way The Little Mermaid ride is coming together.

Like I said, it is very weird not seeing the Rivers of America in that update.

Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

That's a good find there, MmeLeota! Never thought I'd see Murphy in broad daylight until I saw those photos.

That was awful cool to see the bottom of the river and all the Fantasmic stuff exposed!

Hopefully they'll do one for WDW/MKs Rivers. If a live alligator has been spotted in there (Rivers of America is connected to Seven Seas Lagoon which is connected to Bay Lake which has been around since before Walt himself was born) makes you wonder what else might be lurking under the surface...

Oh, that's scary! I hadn't heard about that!

Do they still have the canoes on the Rivers of America in WDW? That would be a little freaky to be paddling along and see a alligator swimming alongside the canoe! People might think it was an animatronic alligator and try to pet it

Chomp!
And you're right, what else could be in there?!
