My first trip was this past June and it was absolutely wonderful. The parks weren't too terribly crowded and I was able to see everything in 3 days at a nice normal pace. Its much nicer to walk when you're park hopping instead of having to deal with transportation like WDW. My only disappointment was missing a Nemo soft opening by one day. Hopefully I'll be back out there in a few years.

Sounds like you had a great time! I'm really glad that you were able to do the 3 day park hopper, as I think you do really need to take some leisure time in Disneyland to truly enjoy what it has to offer. Being able to people watch or notice a lot of the subtle effort they put into the park is what makes it so great. Hopefully next time you'll be able ot hit Nemo as well!

Our last trip in June of 2007 was also our first trip to DL. Being on the "Right" coast, we have been to WDW dozens of times. This trip was terrific. We all really enjoyed DL and DCA. I can't wait to go back!! :mickey:

Just over 3 weeks ago. I only live an hour away, though. This will be the first year I don't set foot on WDW property, though. *sniffle* I hope to become an AP holder sometime this fall for Disneyland, though. Up until now I've been getting by with comp tickets. (Ah, the perks of being a former cast member....)

I'm a WDW girl at heart, but DLR is always a great fix. After all, it's the Motherland.

dont be sad, im one hundred percent true to disneyland! not that there is a thing wrong with wdw, im just one of the many people who think that nothing in this world will ever replace the original,, the one that brings back so many many memories, that makes me feel like im a little girl again, which, btw, my last visit was july, 23-26 of this year to be exact, and what a time! we are planning on going back in dec. as well,,, and i look so much forward to it! disneyland, the original, FOREVER!!

This past week was my last trip. I miss it already.

I'm an hour away and still have not been on Nemo. I think it's about time to go. Hopefully the line is shorter. But of course our weekends are all booked for the next 2 months. I hope to sneak a day in during that time.

My last trip was March 31st, two weeks before my fiance left to go overseas. We took my 2 year old nephew. We all had a blast!!!

Last time I visited

Post by devol4 » Aug Tue 21, 2007 5:57 am

The last time i visited was about a month ago. We flew all the way from Germany to get there, and spent about a week down in the LA area. Before that my last visit was back in 1996. I was at WDW in 1998 and now planning to go to Disney Paris in a few weeks cuz it's only a 3 hour train ride from here! :D

Hi again. My last trip to DL was two years ago for the 50th anniversary and I gotta tell you it was something of a melancholy experience. Although I love actually being there at the park for any reason and still managed to partake of my favorite rides and shows I guess I was just too aware of some of the-what I believe-unnecessary changes that have taken place ove the years; after all, I've been going to the park since I was 3 or 4 years old so naturally I've grown up with certain things always being where they belong. I guess I'm just getting stubborn as I get older, (as you can tell from some of my posts), anyway I'm still optimistic that the ongoing refurb will entice me to keep coming back more often. Until next time, peace.

I was INSANE and decided to go this past Saturday...the HOTTEST day of the year! But I had a three year old I made a promise to. The three year old was great I was the one that was cranky.

Sadly the last time I went to Disneyland was August 15-18 2005. I went to Disney World last year. But I'm going to Disneyland for my birthday this year. My birthday is October 25 but we are going in November and I can't wait to ride the new rides and see the changes in 2 years.

My wife an I go to Disneyland and California Adventure about once a week since we got our Annual Passports. You can't believe the crowds during Halloweentime. Tickets are cheap and it seems like EVERYONE is at the park. But is still fun everytime we go :D
