Love the DVD
Thanks for the great idea for my DHs birthday. He'll love watching the WDW and Disneyland DVDs when we cannot be there.

They are someones home video. For the most part it is GREAT! There are a few attractions that are on the dvds that are darkly lit and somewhat difficult to see anything, but being able to see things like the WDW PeopleMover attraction again and Hall of Presidents just totally takes me back to my childhood. Totally worth it...in my opinion.

I got mine a couple of weeks ago and am somewhat disappointed. I know that they're all home videos from someone's camcorder, and I'm fine with that. But, instead of the 20 DVD set I was promised (on the website), I got a 7 disc set. They claim that nothing is missing, but the set still seems like it's missing something. Also, the DVD menus are annoying. I can understand the first menu (separting attractions). But the menus after that break up the attractions into separate chapters. as if I want to see half of PotC or Wishes instead of the whole thing. I know that it's set up to be easy for people, but the discs just seem a bit to amatuer from a site that seems so professional...

I was wondering the same thing. I wrote them a nasty e-mail telling them that when they say 20-discs I want 20 Discs I only got 5 so I knew something wasn't right. They told me some story of nothing being lost but it was due to a high demand and they have cut it down. Now I was wondering how they could get the same amount of video without dropping quality or dropping Attraction. I compared the site and the Dvd all the same attractions are on there but I still wonder. Oh and I still like my Disneyland set. Still worth the price I payed.

No for the price it is worth it. I just don't think they are worth the $99 or what ever they suggest as the retail. There where people who bought this in the beginning and that would have sucked if they didn't get the full discs. I would still recommend that you get them while the price is so low.
they also removed the disc count.
Check it out if you are still thinking about it.

yeah, like Eagle said, for the price it's not bad. I wouldn;t pay full price (the $100+). but the price it's at right now is fine.
another disappointing thing about the discs I received is that the dvds don;t come in cases, they come in those flimsy paper sleeves like some software comes in. also the DVD labels are just those ones you get in a home label kit (print and stick). if I was paying full price for that, I'd want my money back right away. I could probably get better getting it from ebay...
but, like I said, for the price, it's ok. don;t let a couple of negative reviews deter you if you really want it.

It sounds liek the old you get what you pay for ideal here. I'm glad that they gave previews on the site so that you know the quality of the video you are getting beforehand. I'll probably pick it up for the $9.99 price, and just keep it around to get hyped up before the next time we go to the park.
