Latest update from Micechat: World of Color finally gets an opening date, Little Mermaid construction, Food & Wine festival continues, etc.
Poor ToT seems like it is really getting obstructed by the construction walls. Has the wait time for it decreased due to this? Seems like nice progress and World of Color looks amazing.

My guess is that it may have. They closed down the Fastpass area during the construction and they had to move the entrance of the ride onto the other side. I have a feeling that the wait times have been light.

I would have thought the wait times would have gone up since there is no fastpass currently...maybe people see all the construction walls and just say, ahh, too much of a hassle...

That's what I'm thinking, Amy. Then again I haven't gone to that area since they started the construction so I don't know for sure.

Thanks for the update Ms Swann... I especially like the piece they did on the night crews repairing/cleaning after hours in Disneyland.

I did too. It was nice to get a little sneak peek on what goes on after hours.

As always, thank you Ms. Swann!

I would say the RoA project is quite behind schedule...wasn't it supposed to reopen later this week?

I too liked the article about the after hours crew! I love all that behind the scenes stuff, and it doesn't ruin a bit of the magic for me. :D

I can't wait to see the World of Color - even if my first time is on Youtube I'll watch it...

I am going to try and refrain from watching it on YouTube since we'll be going a month after the "opening".

...but it's gonna be really difficult to not watch! :?

I saw a test video for it but I'm holding my breath and seeing the finished product in person.

As always, thanks for posting!

The RoA look amazing! (I know I doubted they would have it up and ready for the weekend. Boy was I wrong!)

I am also glad that someone covered the D23 event for the rededication of the Animation Building. We wanted to attend that event so badly, but knew we couldn't make it. :(

Aw, that's a shame, MmeLeota! It would have been one nice event to check out.

I was impressed that Mr. Iger stayed to take pictures and sign autographs! Normally one can't get near the guy.

(though I may not fully agree with the man, getting to shake the hand of the man in charge sure would have been awesome!)
