I wonder how long it will take for mermaid and a few other buildings to get those nice green tears rolling down the sides from their use of copper? A few buildings throughout south OC have the same white/pale paint with copper on the roof and gutters and they look quite nasty after a few years.

I would guess Disney will keep on top of that either with cleaning or painting...

Probably, that or they put a thick enough coating on everything copper that water never touches it. Like the french market's awning, it should be green but it is the same copper it always is.

yeah a good, heavy, flexible poly topcoat would kill any oxidation...

That's kind of odd that they expect such a strong dip tomorrow, is there a "Free punch in the junk day" promotion or something? My guess as to why the event didn't get that big a turnout, it wasn't promoted enough (the other ones with direct emails always got huge ones) and it also wasn't in the new land itself.

Since, I think, it's been confirmed the wires won't be live, if they don't add in a spark effect they will be kind of silly to have since that is part of the atmosphere of those cars.

Also, gimp suit dragon looks interest, it's good to know Disney is keeping up with the trends. I wonder if the prince will get a ball gag?

I'm not sure if they sell mylar baloons anymore, for that reason, which is part of the reason they aren't powered. That and it's more expensive than having battery operated cars.

I'm surprised that they won't have everything done at the start of summer, though I am guessing the media event is more about Cars Land than anything else.
