Sometimes, in movies, it's known as the MacGuffin. Like the Ark in "Raiders of the Lost Ark".

Ah. Thought so, but I didn't know about the Indiana Jones thing. I'll have to watch that again.

The correct response is "weenie"...sometimes in movies, the weenie is referred to as the MacGuffin. In both cases, it's what draws your attention. Your not going to find a sign in Disneyland saying "Weenie Next Right" nor are you going to find a reference to a ""MacGuffin" in Raiders.

Yeah, in Raiders it would be the face melting.

Anybody know the origin of the term weenie?

It's how Walt played with his dog "Lady". He would come home and take three hot dogs outta the fridge, two for him and one for the dog. He would make her dance, do tricks and follow him around the living room before he gave it to her. While trying to explain to his Imagineers how he wanted to steer and control the crowds at Disneyland, he used this as an example and coined the term.

Since this has been dormant for a while and I just learned a new piece of trivia, I thought I'd throw it out there....

Who originally voiced the Main Street Electrical Parade (the opening and the ending)?

Don Dorsey? Or Jack Wagner?

It was Jack Wagner. Don Dorsey took over when Mr. Wagner died.
