Yea, I still couldnt believe how much the trees have grown over at the jungle cruise. It almost looks like that ride was naked with out all the tree coverage. If only Walt could see it now!

It's amazing how much of a landmark the Matterhorn used to be. You used to be able to see it from pretty far outside the park and now it's blocked by so many other buildings and trees. I grew up in the 80s I remember it even being a prominent sight then. We would always see who could spot the Matterhorn first on our way to the park. Once someone spotted it we all got so excited!

And I can't believe how sparse the jungle cruise used to look! Wow! It looks so much more "jungley" now. :mickey:

That's so cool to see they way it used to be! It's also really weird to see how everyone was dressed back then! I couldn't even imagine going to any of the parks wearing a dress and heels (especially in the summer!). Shorts and a tank top works for me!

Those are some amazing pictures.

Makes me wonder what people will say 40-50 years from now when they look at pics of DL from the 90's and 00's.
Are we there yet? When can we go back?

I don't know what's worse, the anticipation of going or the withdrawals after getting home.
