I voted Alice in Wonderland. Peter Pan would be a close second.
As for the whole, 'dark ride' thing, I always thought it was implying the Fantasyland style rides. Like the song on the 50th anniversary CD "Fantasyland Dark Ride Suite".

And the blackest 'art wears the broadest smile."
Oh, and "Welcome Home."

That is also what I thought by 'dark ride'. I had no idea reading through peoples responses it was going to be an argument. lol

I love all the dark rides!! But I am embarrassed to admit, last year, some of my family went together and since the line for Mr. Toad was so short, we had this brilliant idea of going on the ride by ourselves. Okay, we were all FREAKED out! My Mom, my sisters, Husband, my 56 year old Dad and even my "cool" brother admitted they were scared too! HAHAHA that will teach us! We all decided that Snow White would also freak us out if we went by ourselves. Okay, so any of the dark rides would. What can I say? Imagination.......

I can't choose, I love them all. So I can't vote.
Snow White's Scary Adventures (the evil queen peeks at you daring you to ride it!)
Pinocchio's Daring Journey (huge memories about my nearly grown daughter's early childhood on this one)
Peter Pan's Flight (Love the flying over london effect I'd be a lost boy if I could)
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (memories of my son on this one)
Mr. Toads Wild Ride (Always a favorite with me... love the song and none in WDW)
Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin (Just fun)
Mike and Sully to the Rescue (was very appealing like the addition of smells)
Alice in Wonderland (Another exclusive that just too much fun)
Just can't do it.

While I'll admit that Mr. Toad leaves me humming "Merrily, Merrily, Merrily on Our Way to Nowhere In Particular" for at least an hour afterwards, it just doesn't have the same thrill as:
"C'mon everybody - here we goooooo!"
"C'mon everybody - here we goooooo!"
"Pretty soon we'll be underwater - I mean, underway."
"Careful of the little ones folks, if they latch on to you they'll bleed you dry for the next 18 to 24 years."
