I agree!!! I LOVE THE MONTE CRISTOS!!! They are about the best ever, and they were my first Monte Cristo. I also love the turkey legs there. They are the best as well!
Thos things are great, heart attack makers though, but so good.

The Monte Cristo is by far a huge favorite for me. I really would love one right now!

On the other hand...a Dole Whip sounds rather nice too. Sounds like it must be vacation time!

I love the fresh hot carmel popcorn. I forgot where is was though, I think it was somewhere in DCA. Also on my list would be the Corn Dogs and Dole Whips. I have never had a Monte Cristo, so I will have to look for them next time I go.

The two I have eaten in the past 3 months have been very good, but a little greasy. (obviously it is fried, but still) so I can't eat it all that often. They are good, but don't eat too much at once... youll get sick.

Honey Popcorn

Post by soccermouse » Oct Thu 05, 2006 10:14 am

I just remembered the Honey Popcorn that you can sometimes by in Critter Country. Often the wagon is not out and often I have to wait the 3o minutes it takes them to make a new batch; they go fast. If it is cold, it is not as good. You always want a fresh batch that is still warm. There is nothing better than watching Fantasmic with a hot Honey Popcorn.

Big soft Mickey shaped pretzels any time and on any day reasonably warm, Mickey Ice Cream bars. Those are my two - and they are easier to get than a Monte Cristo :D

Thanks for your input. Some of those things I have never tried. I will be in the park Wednesday - Saturday and I will be sure to try some. We are also looking forward to the Strawberry Shortcake at the River Bell.

Dole Whips! I used to get them at Magic Kingdom in WDW, and when I discovered that DLR has them too, I just about jumped out of my golden ears! I got my whole family to try them too--everyone loves 'em. Mmmm Dole Whip....

I've also gone after a churro on my last two visits to DLR too.

Mickey ice cream ears and Gibson Girl Ice Cream.

And my favorite dinner food (before they changed it at the start of 2006) -- Sonora Burrito at the Rancho del Zocalo. Something changed that I don't like about it.
