I remember going to the late show at teh Golden Horseshoe back with the old show, and though I was a bit old for it I ended up on stage with the comedian (there really werent many kids). Well I had seen the show many times before and had even seen the show earlier in the day so I knew the jokes already.
Though I wasn't thinking about it, when he asked me "Have you ever seen me before?" I said "Yes" without even thinking. I was supposed to say "No" to which he would respond "Well how do you know its me?"
Anyways, he just looked at me and said "You blew my line kid...".
I felt so embarasssed, though I still got the huge lollypop anyways.

My favorite childhood memory of Disneyland is actually not one single event, but oen particular attraction. I will always remember lining up on Main Street by the train station every night we were there to watch the Electrical Parade. We'd usually stop by a store on Main Street (hopefully the Magic Shop) on our way down, get a very small toy and then get curb seating at least half an hour before it started. The Main Street Electrical Parade song still gets me every time. Watching the sun set and then waiting for the Parade after an amazing day at Disneyland will always be one of my favorite memories.

One of my favorite memories is actually not my own, it's my grandmother's. She used to tell me of a time that she took me (and only me) to Disneyland before I was old enough for school. My older brother was in already in elementary school and my younger sister was too young to go. I don't remember anything about that day but my grandma told me that I played all day long without missing a beat. At the end of the day, as we sat on a curb waiting for a taxi to pick us up, she looked over at me and I was fast asleep. I must have been tired later in the day but was so enchanted that I didn't want to miss a single thing!

Hi again. This memory is actually a two-in-one kind of deal. When I was about 8 or 9 years old I loved the circus, (still do), and every summer the Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey show would come through right in the middle of summer. One of the best places to see it was at the Anaheim Convention Center right across the street from DisneyLand. Anyway, one weekend my mother, my cousin and I went to the circus and saw the matinee show in the afternoon as we pulled out of the center parking lot my mother made a big u-turn on harbor blvd., the opposite direction from where we arrived. I asked her where we were going,(as all kids do), and she didn't answer. Sure enough, five minutes later we were in the parking lot of DL, (pre DCA), and spent the rest of the day at the park! Don't ask me how she afforded it; this was before inflation obviously, but it still gave us all a day we would never and will never forget. Until later, peace.

I remember the origianl Fantasyland and how bold the colors were, and the Pirate Ship Restaurant. I also remember thinking that every building we passed was the Haunted Mansion and getting freaked out that we were going inside. And my parents remeber, as do I, how whenever it was time to leave, I had a major tantrum, kicking and screaming, I never wanted to leave.
Oh, one more thing, I remember going to the park and Fantasyland being closed, and the next year going and seeing the new Fantasyland for the very first time. I was 10 years old.

My favorite childhood memory would have to be when I was about 5 or 6 and my family and i would go see the Country Bear Vacation Hoedown and i remember sitting next to my dad and he would be clapping his hands and stomping his feet to the music...my dad would tell me to clap my hands and stomp my feet too!! I remember his cheesy smile and the way his nose would wrinkle! This memory is really special to me cuz my dad is no longer with us...and i just remember having a lot of fun!!
