I apologize for the late post. I've been dealing with some personal problems in the family and it slipped my mind.

Buena Vista wigwag, Emporium reopens, Hundred Acre upgrades, Cars Land work, etc.

It gets the hose again for claiming the updates would be on Thursdays!

Also, even though the tree was added in 2007, I would swear this is the first time (well last time I was there) that I have seen the Halloween tree (a book/movie outlawed by fox for being pagan, socialist, and pro-death panels)

Aha, thank you for that. I'll explain about it some time this week in an off topic thread.

The annual pass event for the Soundsational Parade looks like it was pretty nice. The opportunity to take photos with the characters and floats would have been pretty cool :D It would have been hard to choose between the walk-on attractions or taking photos...

I like the replica E-ticket tiles on the pool wall, but I think it would have been more colorful to have all the ticket levels...which I suppose would not go with the pool being called the E-ticket pool...sigh...

That's kind of an interesting risk they are taking with putting holiday merch outside. I know we don't get a ton of rain here but the weather has been screwed up for the last few years. They do, however, seem to pay attention to weather with the outdoor stuff. I was there once when a storm was rolling in and about an hour before it was at the park you could see all the outdoor vendors packing in and leaving.

So they actually pack everything up and roll the carts away instead of just having some sort of weather sheeting in place?

For the carts that move, yes. They pack in the umbrellas and send them away. I am guessing that people aren't inclined to buy stuff from the moving stands (usually ice cream and cold beverages in bottles) so they just pack up. I am not sure about the uncovered stands that don't move (popcorn, churros, etc.) they may just close up as well since the merch might get soggy.

Just checked in today, it might have been mentioned already, but the castle has it's bukakke-esque snow on it, and various lands are mid-fully decorated for the holidays.
