Will you still be able to enter through the Grand Californian? I know when we were there last, they were particular about whether or not you could use that entrance if you weren't actually staying in the hotel.

I'm not sure at this rate. They usually say that you have to be a guest or have a receipt from one of the hotel restaurants to use that particular entrance but the last time I went, they didn't ask for that to be shown. I'm not sure if they will have that entrance in use with the other entrance being so close now but we'll see what happens.

Let us know when the new entrance opens. I am curious!

Yeah, they don't really enforce that rule about the gate being for hotel guests only. I use it all the time to get in since security is much shorter. It's like with many things at DLR, the staff are pretty much whipped into submission or realize it's not worth their time to enforce.

I believe If I remember correctly Grand Californian lodge users get Magic Morning hours, so I dont think they'd let Other people enter there. But I've never stayed So I dont know :?

They must be expecting a large influx sooner rather than later for Halloween. I see the timeline for HMH is inching ever so much closer to 6 Months of Haunted Mansion being out of comission, which isn't a bad thing just different.

In regards to the candy kitchen, they may be going deeper and wider (that's what she said) by also taking over part of the kitchen/storage for the coke corner.

I wonder if they're going to still keep the Coke Corner up to this point and maybe move the ragtime piano over to where the new bakery will be.

It's interesting to see that DLR is expanding their Fantasyland for the Princesses, when WDW's expansion was scaled back on the Princesses.
