New Peoplemover
I just got back from Disneyland and had a chance to talk with a CM while waiting for the fireworks. He said that a new Peoplemover was definately in the works, but no idea when. In fact, he said to expect new looks for Autopia and the Monorail station.

Always can use the promo help! A link from your site would be great, we've got the capacity to serve up the video plus it is a one-stop place for all the folks to sign on, etc. We have banners if you like, spaulo - can you drop a link here for those in case folks are interested?
BTW - nice work on the site, been a while since I've been there.

Thanks for the link, certainly can use more photos!
Speaking of photos - anyone out there have shots of the new store where Radio Disney was under the PM station? Looking for a good one or two if anyone has them, seems like Innoventions' second deck would be a good place to shoot it...

Already contacted Jim Hill, we're working on Reimagineering [the blog has no obvious contact links but we've got someone trying to get to them...]. Other suggestions? We're nearing 1000!

From Al Lut'z new article at MiceAge:

While there was once a proposal to bring back an updated version of the PeopleMover, complete with retro 1960's soundtrack, the humorless state inspectors from the California Department of Safety and Health put an end to that. Since the multiple grandfather clauses the original PeopleMover was working under when it came to building codes and accessibility all expired the day the Rocket Rods opened to the public back in 1998, there is now no hope of ever reviving a funky open air train ride like the PeopleMover.
