Re: Dateline Disneyland
Wow ~ I never realized those custom watches were that expensive. I looked at them at WDW a few times while I was growing up, but never found any of the designs all that exciting. I had a fairly large watch collection but never found one I liked well enough to get one.
I wonder how long the Wreck it Ralph meet and greet will last. Does anyone know how the movie is doing?

Candy corn is like the war crime of candy, only people without souls (adopted and/or redheads) enjoy it.
The watches ranged from "limited editions" which I think were in the mid 100's to one of a kind watches (custom designed to your demands) which were 3-500 I think. The big problem was that, again, same watch movement and housing, so they were not that good.

How long are the Backstreet Boys performing at the resort? DW's family and I are going Thanksgiving week, and she and her sister go gaga over boybands like BB, NSync, etc.

Re: Dateline Disneyland
They were only there for that one day and it was just a performance of one song, their new Christmas song for the Christmas Day Parade. They had to do it in about four takes or so for the sake of editing and they were done after that.dustinm3 wrote:How long are the Backstreet Boys performing at the resort? Re: Dateline Disneyland
darn, that is early. I wonder if the weather causing a clusterf*ck of conditions last year made them bump up the filming?
Also, it gets last year's canned eggnog in the hose this week.
Normally, filming doesn't start until later in the month if not early December.
An hour for a sandwich, not too shocking considering people will wait an hour for a kogi taco.

Re: Dateline Disneyland
I had posted a link to the list of celebrities but not the updated list. I would still hope to get a chance to see Dick Van Dyke do the narration.

Re: Dateline Disneyland
Maybe this is the only time some of the celebrities and bands were available to film their segments. I still remember finding out the Christmas parade and show wasn't live and being so disappointed...but it made a lot more sense that they weren't spending Christmas in Disneyland or WDW!Wizzard419 wrote:darn, that is early. That would be pretty cool to see Dick Van Dyke narrate. I'm sure he will be all serious, but I am imagining him breaking out into characterselizabethswann wrote:I had posted a link to the list of celebrities but not the updated list. Re: Dateline Disneyland
That's true, I am sure they couldn't get off any other shift at the UPS Store.

Re: Dateline Disneyland
Shucks, well hopefully there'll be some other celebs for DW to see. Hope you enjoyed at least!

Usually CA gets the has-beens and the pre/never-famous acts, which made Christina Agulara's appearance here a surprise.

Re: Dateline Disneyland
I know last year had Justin Bieber and Christina Aguilera but I never know who the rest of the lineup is.
