I think MK's will be slightly different (better?) because they will have time to see what works and what doesn't in DCA so those things can be fixed for MK.
Like you said, we have to wait and see.
I will say that I wasn't real crazy about the paint job that was given to the replica of the Palace of Fine Arts at first...but it has grown on me as I see the rest of the building unveiled. I can't wait to see it in person!
Has it been revealed anywhere whether the attractions will be the same on the inside?
I agree with you on the Palace of the Fine Arts MmeLeota. At first I didn't like it, but it does fit in well with the whole attraction building now that it is all completed

I forgot, wasn't the pescimistic prediction that WDW would get a gimped version of the little mermaid?

I don't know about "gimped" but the fact they will have two different exteriors with totally different styles - hard to say yet which would be the better or the worst...

Are you going to brave the crowds to ride it?

I was going to only take the morning off (I have an AM Star tours pass that day) but I might just take the full day since I have no idea how long a line it's going to have.
I wonder if all the AP only things are a means of lessening the numbers during the high season? There are so many AP holders for DLR that it messes with admissions during the peak times.

I'm kinda hoping this is the case. It's bad enough when you've got summer crowds, but add APs on top of that with 2 highly anticipated attractions opening...ugh!

It's not going to be pretty!

It opens on the 3rd right? That's apparently their summer kickoff too (after that week they go to summer hours from the looks of it).

If I didn't have school on the 31st and the 1st, I would have asked my mom if we could go.

Someone told me they turned on the blackbeard content for pirates this weekend, apparently the face projection is mostly a word for word rehash of the previous character.

Latest update from Micechat: Little Mermaid sets sail, Soundsational steps off, Trader Sam sets up shop, etc.
Also, I came back from viewing both the Little Mermaid and Star Tours yesterday with my mom. Little Mermaid was an okay ride, to be quite honest. It's nice to see once then maybe every once in a while but if you're a big fan of the movie then you'll want to check it out. As for Star Tours, my mom and I LOVED it and we're not big on Star Wars. From what I've heard, there's somewhere around 54 different trip possibilities though I'm not entirely sure on the number. Either way it's one I know I'll be wanting to go very often. The 3D was pretty great. I waited in line for at least an hour and fifteen the most while Little Mermaid was about 45 minutes. I have photos but I'll post them later when I'm not so busy.

You would be correct. I don't know how many different planets you can go to but from what I've seen, there are at least three different characters (one per ride) that show up between the planets and at least two different starting points.
As for the update, please, someone tell me the stacks of gold coins on Aladdin's float sway. That would look so stupid just stationary!!
We are all a little weird
And life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”
