Are they really thinking of getting rid of Grad Nite? Did they say why?

Not at DLR, only WDW. It appears that the vacation numbers have been up and they don't want to shut out all those guests. It also might be the numbers for GN haven't grown enough in comparison.

Ahh, I see. I'm thankful I managed to go to Grad Nite at DLR but that's still a sad read.

Question: how many theaters does AMC at Downtown Disney at Disneyland have?
We are all a little weird
And life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

I googled and it says District 12 so I assume it's only 12 theaters in that one AMC.

Did they ever find out what that greenscreen looking stuff was that they had in the water during the movie setup? Or were those temporary things for the workers to stand on?

Re: DCA Gets A Worthy Overhaul Budget
I had wondered that too. Looking at the final set-up, It kind of looks like there are walkways for people to get up into the seating where the green stuff was.Wizzard419 wrote:Did they ever find out what that greenscreen looking stuff was that they had in the water during the movie setup? Anybody lucky enough to get invited to the premier?

Finally returned to the resort for lunch, where the hell do these people keep coming from and why aren't they at work? Anyway, all the world of color platforms were out of the water today for some reason.

Re: DCA Gets A Worthy Overhaul Budget
I read something somewhere that WOC is getting new scenes for the summer as part of Soundsational Summer, and that testing was going on for it. Perhaps that is why the WOC platforms were out.

There was no one on it so it might have been just an inspection thing. Also, I don't think the covered little mermaid sign is painted, you can see bits of it as the cover moves in the wind and it's on metal and might be glass as well.

I don't remember reading anything about WOC getting any new scenes lately.

What is the summer blockbuster for them this year, Cars 2? They might add a cars segment in at the end, like they did with Tron.
