Fantastic job on the site. Still, I highly suggest putting the videos on youtube and then linking the embed tags.

<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/78soF21Om9w"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/78soF21Om9w" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

I wonder if this will work. Nope, I guess embed tags don't work here. But again, they host the bandwidth and give you an embed code to put the flash in your site. You don't need to convert it to flash either.

Yeah but their code is not valid XHTML, I'd prefer to control the content, I have a terabyte of bandwidth to use every month, once something is on YouTube they own the rights to use it as they like, and really, you aren't *supposed* to put anything on YouTube that you don't own the rights to.

We're in no hurry, still trying to get word out about the site... I got one video converted and playing yesterday, but the conversion stunk it up, so I'm working on that.

We'll let everyone know when the first video is ready to go.

The letters with signatures are somewhere btwn here at Burbank and Lake Buena Vista! I'm off to DL in a couple days, look for some new photos of the track coming soon...

Meanwhile, keep spreading the word. It is going really well, already hit 540 today. Have the whole family, friends, etc. sign on and help the cause!

Just got back from DL and have a bit of rumor news. Was in the Disney Gallery picking up my copy of the Peoplemover poster and a former employee commented on it. Turns out he kept in touch with the imagineers he knew and they say the Peoplemover is coming back. I guess they didn't say when but one more thing to add to the good news rumor pile! Some more encouragement in the form of added signatures certainly can't hurt move them forward :D

That would be Fantastic.

I really don't know what the heck they were thinking with the 1998 remodel of Tomorrowland. So many bad choices. Again, to put it into perspective. Indiana Jones cost $100 Million to make. ALL of Tomorrowland cost $99 Million. It totally showed. How ridiculous is that?

I love the new postcards! The views of the old Tomorrowland are fantastic. Seeing the Peoplemover, monorail and sky ride all together is so fun. When do we get to see video?

You sent in the petition when it reached 500, right? Any news yet? Or is Disney speechless?
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

The silence from our good friends at Disney is deafening. Which to me could be a good thing. They don't have a set form letter saying "sorry but the ride is closed - go away" or anything like that obviously or it would have been sent by now as we're getting close to 1 month since the first 500 names were sent in. If and when they write you folks will be the first to know!

Steve can help answer the video question - he is the web guru :D

I know everyone is waiting on the video, and the thing is, I want to do it right. That's why it's taking so long. But I promise it will be awesome when it's done... that, or I will give up and do it just to do it (but boy do I hate it when that happens)

There are more new pictures coming soon (probably today) to the Photos page. Videos in the near future, I promise.

If it turns out half as good as the site looks after you got on it they'll be supurb!

Ok folks - the official letter arrived from 3 of the 5 the petition got sent to... And it says ---- nothing. I thought I'd seen every way possible to say nothing but they beat me by a mile. Anyways, it is scanned. Steve - watch for the email here in just a bit for the jpg. Once we get it up you'll be able to see what I mean!

Nothing is better than negative... Back to work getting signatures!

Spaulo, what is the address on the bottom of the letter, I can't read it. I would like to send them a personal letter from me!!! This letter certainly seems like they could really care less what guests think. But I could be wrong.

I would like to send a copy of the petition to Roy Disney, not that he could really do anything, but I would like him to see what we are trying to accomplish. We...like I did anything...ha ha ha all I did was sign the petition and here I am acting like I really did something....ha ha ha
