I think they are talking about Star Tours, but that isn't really a new painting. I think it's more of a refresh of the existing artwork.

How kind of the folks over at MC to post a pic just for our friend NaCler...ugh! Duffy mouse ears?!?! What's next? Wait, don't answer that...
So, I'm not sure I like the Ariel that much at this point, (her eyes seem to overwhelm her in a creepy way) but I will wait to see how the whole thing comes together when the ride opens. The lighting in the ride may enhance certain effects...
The Maliboomer park just looks sad. But the monorail waterslide looks pretty cool!

The more I look at her, the more I think "This is exactly why they have never gotten past concept art for the little mermaid in the past". Everything else looks meh to awesome but it's that stupid hair that keeps holding it back, it reminds me of a squirrel trappen in jello (don't ask).

Squirrel trapped in jello? Sounds like something from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation...Wizzard419 wrote:The more I look at her, the more I think "This is exactly why they have never gotten past concept art for the little mermaid in the past". After seeing Ariel, I think Lady GaGa needs to call the police and get them to arrest Disney for stealing one of her wigs. Ariel's hair is just awful.

At least in her case she is trying to rip off Dadaism of the 50's(?). I hate to rag on it without a solution but the physics of what I think would look really good/realistic won't work in small scale. I do not predict this ride will have long lines after 6 months.

I didn't think much in DCA had long lines...Wizzard419 wrote:At least in her case she is trying to rip off Dadaism of the 50's(?). You'd be surprised....but then again, what's considered a "long" line in DLR is a bit different than what's percieved as a "long" line in WDW.mindflipper wrote:I didn't think much in DCA had long lines...Wizzard419 wrote:At least in her case she is trying to rip off Dadaism of the 50's(?). Well, long lines are (for the main attractions about an hour or a little more.Though Toy Story can get to 90 minutes from what I've heard.

Re: DCA Gets A Worthy Overhaul Budget
It's still spring break and my college doesn't get out for our spring break until the 17th of this month so it will be pretty crazy.

I'm not even considering after lunch rides until the numbers drop by a lot.

I despise the bear, hence the reason I didn't have the avatar long... and PLEASE do not hand me a Duffy the next time we meet.mindflipper wrote:What?!? I thought you loved Duffy? Like your prediction for TLM, once the novelty of TSMM wears off I expect the line will drop (unless they change the games inside to something new)...Wizzard419 wrote:Well, long lines are (for the main attractions about an hour or a little more.Though Toy Story can get to 90 minutes from what I've heard.
