I was thinking of doing the more expensive offers, BUT I decided against it for a couple of reasons. One was that I'm Going to have to stay at a Good neighbor hotel so I would either have to pay for a room the night of the 9th or move twice, both are not something I want to do. Another reason is obvious, $425+ for a room included......this doesn't take a genius to figure out that you are getting hosed at full force.

I will keep you updated on all items I get or am supposed to get as soon as I know.

Dr. Ravenscroft wrote:It is official, I just got off the phone with Disney. I have my Moldy ticket (instead of Golden ticket). I thought that I did not get it and was so upset but today I received a call from the Disney Gallery. They took my credit card number and said I have one Dearly Departed ticket waiting for me. I will take 4 million pictures of the event for you all!

I am jealous, but I can't wait to see the pics. Don't forget to take pics of the "free" stuff you get as well!!!!!!!!!!

I'm really disappointed I missed out on this. I can't believe the tickets are already sold out! I wanted to take my mom, who was a lead cast member on the ride for several years way back in the 80s, for her birthday. However, we were lucky enough to attend the 30th anniversary and meet Marc Davis. Although I was only 7 at the time its still an incredible memory. I was a bit traumatized by the midnight ridethrough because of the actors hiding throughout. haha
Please, anyone who is attending the event, post pics!!

Hopefully by then I will have the new camera by then. I want something that takes good pictures in the dark. I will most certainly take lots of pictures.

Does not compute???? I'm an eastcoaster too. I understand about the cost....that was a bit hard for me to take too, but I decided that I most likely would not be able to go to the 50th that I should try for this one.
