We're hitting WDW for 8 days this summer and I'm at the very beginning of trying to square away some fall dates for a trip to the West Coast to hit DL.

For Disneyland's 50th.

My Fiancee and I are trying to get married on the day Disneyland opened. So in the 100th year anniversary we would be celebrating our 50th anniversary. I know it sounds cheesy... but hey can anyone say that they got married on the day Disneyland opened 50 years from now. :D

If we can't... a beach wedding is what I'd like to have. Vegas isn't bad either but we want to be there on the date the park opened. But thank you "bostoncg" for the congrats.

I'm going just before the start (this week), and then again in September when the crowds die down. Hopefully maybe pop in for a day in June or late May.

Looks like the Disney marketing machine is in top gear. The full swing media blitz is beginning! I'd bet a million you'll be seeing a lot more press releases from Burbank in the next few weeks.

I wish I could go on July 17th. I think the issue is that if I traveled down to Disneyland from Seattle I still might not get in. That's my biggest thought.

That said, apart from the "once in a lifetime" thing, I have no problems going another day.

:o That's awesome! I hope you have an incredible time! Be sure to write a little review afterwards with all the juicy details. That way we can all be even more envious.

I'm going to be in Anaheim for a convention July 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. I might be going on the 2nd and 3rd.
I've gone full circle on my avatars.
