Most walk thru's like this are closed because of ADA and Fire Code issues. Monticello right down the road closed the upper floors 'cause ole T.J. made them 18 inches wide and put in two, one up and one down. Our Fire Dept wasn't keen on it. It's closed unless you know someone... :)

Are you that person I need to know? :wink: I haven't been to Monticello since I was a youngin'. I barley remember anything......the only thing I really remember is that it is the only place to get a $2 bill.

huh, i guess that can be some sort of reasoning bostoncg...i didn't think of that.


yikes, yea, it isn't a nice thought....so sad that that's something people have to think about in today's world :( even at the happiest place on earth! :cry:

It's been announced that the walk thru will be re-opened this fall.

got any kind of link to support this announcement? I'd love to see this in February (IF I can get out there, that is), but would be disappointed to learn if this were not true.

It looks like a big improvement over the old walk thru! It's set to open this fall, as was already stated. Hope to hear the full report from all you west coasters!
