Wow I am actually shocked some people voted yes it should be permanent. Haunted Mansion is a signature ride and should not be changed(except at the holiday season). Nothing beats the original Haunted Mansion.

I want to see it so bad! That and Small World Holiday seem like a nice twist...as long as they go back to the originals after the holidays!

I do not really care for HM Holiday...for me there is nothing to it. Maybe because I did not really care for Nightmare before Christmas either. It just doesnt have that Disneyland magic feel to it....I usually avoid that attraction (even though HM is my FAV) during the HM Holiday season...

It would be a mistake to make it permanent. That would be going to far with replacing the classic CLASSIC attractions.

Goodness no!

Haunted Mansion is classic Disney and I actually don't care for its remodel at all during the holidays. Its such a gem in Disneyland, standing out due to its gloomy theme. To replace that with Nightmare (which although nice, I still think isn't reaaaally Disney) would be a big step backwards.

I don't want to see it as permanent. I'm looking forward to making a special trip to DL just to see it!

I'd be pretty upset if I couldn't see my HM ever again. Although I'm sure HMH is cool, I'd be sad with out one of the rides I grew up with.

I like both, attractions and they should continue to alternate. A few more effects while waiting line would be great. Possibly a holo  graphic ghost rising from one of the tombstones on occasion at night might be fun.

I like both of them. I think just during Christmas and Halloween sounds good.

I agree that HMH is great as a temporary overlay. But nothing can compare to the original. And I really don't think that a ride based on NBC would stand up on its own. It works great as a temporary holiday thrill to the HM, though. :D

Much as I love HMH, I love HM too, so I'm gonna agree with everyone else and say keep it as just an overlay. My mum on the other hand would love it if they never did HMH again (she's clearly not a NBC fan lol).

NBC overlay is OK. I don't think it could stand by itself long term though.

Yea, the biggest appeal of this ride is that its at DL for halloween time and through christmas. Thats what makes going to DL during the holiday season so much more fun! Besides, having it up for roughly 3 months should be plenty of time to feed your hunger for the attraction. I like it a lot but would hate to lose HM over it.
