Has anyone been to the Princess Fantasy Faire at Disneyland? My 5yr old is a princess fan, and we were wondering if it was worth taking her to. What goes on there, is a show or what? Also, will there be anything for my 3yr old son to do there or is it mainly for girls? Any info would help us plan our days @ the parks better.

I haven't taken my daughter there just because she hasn't really asked to do it and because every time we have gone past it always seems so crowded. If you go to the disneyland website they give a good description of what it is. From what I have read they have story time and learn what it is to become a princess. They also have a princess gift shop area set up. I think it would be fine for your son because the website says they learn what it takes to be a true princess or knight.
Hope this helps and have a wonderful trip.
Also the Jedi training academy is fun for both boys and girls of that age group.

We went in May and will be doing it again in Sept. My daughter is 3 and absolutely loved it. She especially enjoyed the storytime and the coronation ceremony that was very interactive. If your daughter loves princesses this is an extra special place. Note that the line for the meet n greet can be a long time even though it doesn't look very long. You get extra special one on one time with each of the princess that are at the meet n greet when you are there.

Thanks for the info cordray2643, do you think that my 2 1/2 yr old son will like it, I mean he is into pretending to be a prince, when his sister pretends to be a princess, or should I plan to have him do something else?

We took my daughter for her 5th birthday. She loved it! My two boys (ages 3 and 18 months at the time) were entertained by the coronation ceremony where they teach you the proper way to be a princess or knight. (It's definitely geared more towards little girls, though!). They teach your child to dance like a prince or princess, decorate your own paper crown with stickers, and dance around a may pole (the three princesses on stage come down during this part to dance around the may poles with the kids as well.)
I agree about the line to meet the princesses. It can be quite long but is well worth the wait to have your daughter meet her favorite princess. We got some adorable pictures of my daughter with the princesses. The downside is you don't know which princesses will be back there unless you ask the cast member by the line. They may be able to give you a time when your daughter's favorite princess will be there. We had to come back to catch Cinderella (my daughter's favorite) since she wasn't there the first time we went that day.
We weren't able to do the storytime but I think it's just one of the princesses telling a story. I wished we could have gone but after a while the boys started getting bored. My recommendation would be to at least do the meet and greet with the princesses. They give you your own individual time to talk with each princess and pose for pictures. It's a little girl's dream!
