I think it's the weekend after Thanksgiving, but I'm not 100%.

You are correct, although it's usually the first week of December before everything is 100% set up, almost all deco and events will start that weekend after Thanksgiving.

That is right. And the decorations go up very quickly, although the Main Street tree is sometimes last to be finished.

Though, if your big draw is HMH, that goes up in October, so as to bridge the Halloween/Christmas gap in a way that ever national retailer is envious of. (Because nobody can say it doesn't fit the material!)

I was under the impression that the Xmas stuff started going up after the Halloween "parties" and such. Do they really wait until after Thanksgiving?

We always go the first or second week of December. Everything's up, but park attendance is down and rates are good.

I was there last year the weekend before Thanksgiving and everything was set up for Christmas. So I'm not too sure if maybe I missed some things that didn't start till after I left or not. But Small World was open and I was there the first night of the Christmas fireworks show. You can always call Disney and they will tell you.

They start setting up christmas decorations around Halloween. We found that out a couple of years ago when we went, and everyday there was a new christmas tree up, rofl. - blue
