The Mike Fink Keel Boats ("Hi-dee Ho, all you pioneers, buckaneers, souvenirs, lovely ladies, and all you other ladies, welcome aboard the <i>Bertha Mae</i>, or <i>may not</i>") were definitely a favorite - I like anything with a spiel. I also agree on the Skyway.

I definitely miss the Keel Boats too. I tried googling to find the script but gave up.
There's a copy of it in Mouse Tales (by David Koenig). I'd post it, but my copy is at my parents' house right now.

Thanks. I just googled "Mouse Tales" and that seems to be a book for sale. Is that correct? Do you think it's worth buying?

I want the rocket ships back on top of the peoplemover loading area. But if I can't have that, then the peoplemover will be fine.

I Liked Country Bear Jamboree. It adds a bit more flare to Critter Country. :P

Rocket Rods.

There are plenty that I regret never having been able to go on (Adventure Thru Inner Space, for example), but of the ones I did get to experience, Rocket Rods was my favourite.

I totally miss Rocket Rods and the skyway. Totally loved both of those. I hardly remember the skyway but I loved how it went through the matterhorn. That was my favorite part!!
I do stuff sometimes.

I have two actually but one is not a ride. The first one is the Peoplemovers, that was such a relaxing get away to just sit back and rest if your feet were tired. The other one was the Country Bear Jamobree. I LOVED IT! I was so mad and upset when they took it out for the Winnie the Pooh ride....

Definitely the sky buckets. It's one of my clearest disneyland memories from childhood, and my dad proposed to my mom on them...between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, awwww. :)

Peoplemovers! They were a blast to sit in and go around Tomorrowland, looking at the people and taking a load off your feet!

Plus there was Tron, and inside Star Tours and Space Mountain! Can't beat that!

It's really amazing how many people miss Peoplemover. I don't know why Disney doesn't bring it back (I think some BS about safety). Just sensing those things moving overhead really gave Tomorrowland a wonderful futuristic feel.

I agree. If not the people movers, at least something! Not only is the moving thing true, but those empty tracks are just sad! Wasted space that doesn't make sense in Tomorrowland.

There's one shot they used a lot on the old Disneyland show that had the People Mover, monorail, submarines, Skyway, and people on moving (and non-moving) walkways all at once.

With everything in motion like that, the place looked really alive.

At Islands of Adventure, they built a People Mover-style attraction that didn't meet code, so they couldn't allow people to ride on it (they've since taken care of this, I've heard). Anyway, this great track snaked all through the land, with nothing on it. Eventually they put a few vehicles with robot characters on them and it added so much to the look of the place.

That's one of the reasons the Dumbo-style attractions are cooler than they ought to be. They add life to the park.
