I have great memories of my parents convincing my younger brother that we were actually going to be shrunk on the Inner Space journey.....and his reactions when we exited the ride and were the same as we went in.
that will always make it on to the top of my favorites list. Followed closely by the rocket rods.

I may be growing older, but I refuse to Grow UP!

Well mine is not a ride but I totally miss the Country Bear Jamboree, that was a tradition in our family to see the Country Bears at night after we ate at the Big Thunder Ranch back in the day...man, I can still smell that BBQ!

That sounds like a great tradition! Sounds like those two would go pretty well together and it would be a nice way to aid digestion by the toe tappin'!acgonzales wrote:Well mine is not a ride but I totally miss the Country Bear Jamboree, that was a tradition in our family to see the Country Bears at night after we ate at the Big Thunder Ranch back in the day...man, I can still smell that BBQ!

Hi there. Where do I begin? I guess PeopleMover would top my list, my looonngg list. I guess I'm just a natural-born sightseer at heart and PM with its vantage point and ersatz music was a great time-eater. Also Country Bear Jamboree gets a special mention; great music and corny humor=priceless. And just to round things out; Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. What can I say, I'm also a history geek. Later, peace.

I thought they were revamping the castle as well. But I also heard it wasn't wheelchair accessible and so they're not going to re-open it. Whether that is true or not, I don't know. Supposedly that was part of the reason they took away the Skyride too. That it would cost too much money to make the entrances/exits wheelchair accessible.?????
The keel boats were kind of like the Jungle Cruise in the Wilderness...."Hello all you Buccaneers, Pioneers, Bombardiers, Volunteers, Engineers, Mousketeers, all you lovely lovely ladies............ And all you other ladies too."
Good times! Once when we were on them, we ran into one of the rafts to Tom Sawyer Island. Oops!! - No one was on the raft and no one was hurt. I think our Boat Driver was freaked out.
