So I'm really tempted to buy the Disneyland and Disney World dvd sets they are both 9 dollars. But I'm not sure yet a couple of you have made me wonder. Is it really worth it???? Or like what they guy said above "you get what you pay for"?

I think those are both probably correct. It is worth but you are getting what you pay for. It is a home video (albeit high quality) of all the attractions. It's not going to be the same as watching a Walt Disney hosted tour through the park or a Disney produced special on the park, but it's still a cool little excursion, and worth the $9 just to have to psych you up for the next trip :)

Yeah I was close to buying them till I saw the 30 dollar shipping fee and that kind of disappointed me. There was nothing else I wanted to get that was cheap to make the hipping free.

I am really enjoying mine. There are some that are really dark but others are perfect and it is so cool to just watch and see all the things i miss when I am not there.

I pd full price for mine, and have not been disappointed. Some of the discs didn't work when I received them, but I emailed them the info and they shipped me new ones. For me it was well worth the price, I don't get to the parks that often and this helps me feel "connected". They also come in handy when you are planning a trip and aren't sure if you want to ride/walk through an attraction, most of my park visits have been with at least one person with back or heart conditions, and the DVDs let you see what the ride will be like, so you can better plan on what each person can ride.

Thank you guys! I'm about to buy them. My only problem is trying to find one more thing that I want or would get for someone else to make the shipping free because a 9 dollar dvd shouldn't cost 30 dollars in shipping. haha.

Ok so I just bought the Disneyland and Disney World DVD sets for 9 dollars and I bought the tea cup play set for one of my nieces and the total all together was like 33dollars! I can't wait for the DVD's to come! Thank you eagle4life69 for the 50% off! I got free shipping too yayy!! Thanks everyone!!! :D

so, i bought both collections at $9.00 each, and then the activity book for 12.95, to avoid the shipping costs, so i spent $30.00....I was a bit disappointed at times on some of the videos(fantasmic did not come out too well at all!) some times you hear coughing and side chatter, and on occasion the dvd will skip for a second...the part of this purchase that really p*** me off was the activity book. It came 3-4 weeks after the DVDs, which were condensed and threw me off when i was expecting more than the 8 DVDs i got. They switched the activity book on me. Instead of getting a 97 page book that had a red cover on it, i got a coloring book which i already have purchased at the "character premier" store for only $1.00!!!! I would never buy anything from them again.

I'm beginning to wish I hadn't either. I purchased the two dvd set and at first a tea set. They canceled my entire order without notifying me because they don't have the tea set anymore. So I bought a name pin instead a day after my original purchase which is now almost 2 weeks ago and nothing has shipped. I've emailed numerous times and they claim it's due to high demand but that I'll love these dvds as they are a "one of a kind" gift. It's getting rather annoying. I should have been informed up front that it could take a while for us to ship out your purchase. But they didn't and I"m still waiting. They said it should ship today or tomorrow. I'm not holding my breath. If it doesn't ship tomorrow I'm considering canceling the whole thing.

the wait for your order from here is long. don;t expect it to ship right away. I ordered my DVDs (the WDW set) back at the end of June. I didn't get them until the middle-end of August. so, unless you get that email saying your things shipped soon, and you're impatient, I'd cancel...

It's not that I'm impatient at all it's just I wasn't told it could take a while. But I'm glad to see it isn't just me. I mean if the demand is so high and has been you'd think they would say something when you order them. That's all. They say the 9 dollar deals is going to stop next month.

Yeah I figured for 9 dollars I wasn't getting anything real fancy.

and I also said this earlier in the thread. 20 DVDs condensed down to 8, white paper sleeves...

for the money, they're not bad, but I probably wouldn't buy them again...
