it wouldn't be WDW, as Walt died before construction began down there. He only started the planning of the "Florida Project"

To me, the arrangement of California Girls is wholly appropriate. And as someone who lives across the country from DCA, my family and I found it to be a very fun park. With the improvements that are coming, it sounds like it will become even better.

I think this is kind of bad taste on Disney's part. Do any of you agree/disagree. I'm NEVER one to bash Disney, and I'm not trying to do that here...I just think that a song with that kind of message should be on some other "more adult" ride if they felt they really needed it in the park. Thoughts?
Did you have a problem with this song in the Country Bears Vacation Hoedown? The actually used the words there.

It is kinda of annoying when people get all technical for these small things, like it's a song that references California, 95% of people who hear the song make no thought of the real meaning of the words and take it lightly as California just being the best and leave it at that. So I'll leave some good advice "LEAVE IT AT THAT!!!"

I dont see what the problem is. The park is called Disneys Californian Adventure and the song is called Californai girls. Fits fine as far as I can see. Besides its a classic song which has a good summer party type feel.
That area of the park is mainly filled with teenagers anyway, they probably prefer the old style pop to some of the disney theme music.

The appropriateness of California Girls pales in comparison to the song I heard in Downtown Disney last May as mentioned in this thread:

*raises hand* i for one don't mind the Black Eyed peas.....i mean....there are a few songs that could have been a better choice, such as "Total War, Winter War" by Cannibal Corpse or maybe even "Mustakrakish" by Metalocalypse.

I have no problem with arrangements of the song being played. But, as seen in my recent news post, it's songs that are in their original form won't don't 'quite' have to do with Disney which I feel don't need to be on this site.
