Do you think the HM Holiday should be perminent?
When I said this, I don't mean in the Holiday sense, I mean in the attraction itself in quality. Literally 9/10 people said they LOVED the HMH! I agree, since my last visit, I thought I was very well done. So, I was curious to know how many people say they should develop some kind of Nightmare Before Christmas attraction to stay perminent.
Do you think have enough time to go the bathroom before the next show?

I do not think it should replace HM nor become it's own attraction. The appeal of HMH is because it's only there for a short time. It's a great temporary replacement for many years to come but doesn't deserve to be permanant.

I just want to clarify, I never said to replace the HMH or get ride of the HM. I love HM and I will always put it in front of HMH. HM to me is every high point of every vacation. My friend was just wondering about the subject and I wanted to hear the opinion of loyal Disney fans.subsonic wrote:I do not think it should replace HM nor become it's own attraction. I don't think they should be making new attractions based off the properties anyway (yeah right, wishful thinking)... but NBC is hardly "Disneyish" if you know what I mean. I agree with Sub, the NBC-themed attraction works because it's short term. A permanent one wouldn't be a good idea, imho.

I agree
I agree. I hope that it will remain a permanent overlay, but I think that it would loose some of its appeal if it was up all year. We get excited to see it up and we get excited to see the classic decor come back.Halvogirl wrote:Aggh! i meant NO! i would like it to stay as a perment holiday overlay but not a perment ride!

I love NBC but I say the same as everyone else, NO to a perminent ride. I still have not seen this holiday attraction yet but I plan to in future. If they made a ride out of NBC it would be too late, they should have done it years ago. Heck they could have put it into DCA when they built that, DUH!

I finally saw the HMH for the first time this Sunday and I loved it! However, I would stipulate that if I hadn't finally watched the movie for the first time last year, I would have hated it. It was great, but I echo the sentiments of others who say that it's best that it's only a temporary overlay. My roommate was seeing DLR for the first time in memory (was only 4 or 5 last time he was there) and I kinda wished he could have seen the original.
Oh well, it's fun while it lasts but the original is the best!

I like the original Haunted Manison, not that HMH is bad or anything. But the ride itself is a classic, and my Godfather's nephew was one of the designers of HM and Pirates of the Carribean. He then moved to Florida to work at WDW and now he designs for Universal Studios' rides. In short they should always leave it the original way during the year, then transform for the Holidays.
