Mission: Impossible - DLR Edition

Post by indysoarin19 » Jun Thu 29, 2006 1:38 am

I'm going to Disneyland July 27th with several friends who wanted to do both parks. So, the objective has been set to do both parks in the same day. We'll be there from roughly 8 am-10 pm

Mission: Ride as many rides as possible in one day at both parks.

But, it won't be as easy as going from ride to ride. We have a reservation at the Blue Bayou for 12:40 pm that day.

So, does anybody have any suggested itineraries for the day? We especially want to do the following: Peter Pan, Pirates, Splash, Space, Soarin', Tower, Screamin', Monsters, Indy, Haunted, and Remember.

Wow. That's tough. I would grab a Space FP then get Peter Pan out of the way first thing in the morning... you'll walk right on, the ride is a few minutes long, and poof done... then get your butt over to Pirates because that line will get NUTS with the new changes. then hit Indy, Splash, and Mansion, just fit in lunch in there (hence staying on that side of the park)... after those rides and lunch, Space mountain, then over to DCA

Grab a Soarin' FP and head over to ToT, then Monsters, Inc. if it's time for the Soarin' FP, do it, or go to Screamin' first. Then head back over to DLR for the fireworks...

That could be do-able... good luck!

Indy there is another post in this forum that is exactly like what yours is, its called "Only One Day At Disneyland" as well as "Don't Miss At Disneyland" that might have some good ideas on there for you as well. Good Luck. I am envious I would love to be going to DL :D

I think Spaulo's plan is right on. But, with the reopening of pirates you might want to hit that the very first then go to Space for the Fast Pass. This will require more walking but if the line difference is 15 minutes for POTC when the park opens compared to 1.5 hours later in the day it's worth the walk. It's hard to judge though. I haven't seen wait times yet for POTC.

Subsonic's advice is good. You might also want to jump on the DL Railroad after Pirates to get you over to Space Mtn. for your FP. It gets you there relatively fast due to early time of day and you get another attraction in on the way.

Peter Pans line can tend to be long and its out in the hot sun. Try catching this early in the morning or later in the evening. This time of the year having to wait in the hot sun is not a good idea. Hope this helps have a great time!

I would say go with what Sub said, then move on to Spaulo's plan :) Have fun!
