USH has been sputtering on for a while now. Citywalk might make them more money in leases than the park makes in ticket sales.

The opening of the Nokia Theater may have also been a nail in the coffin for the Gibson Theater. It was kind of odd how the theater was built with an entrance in USH so park guests with event tickets wouldn't need to leave the park, but they have covered it up.

Nokia does seem to attract a lot of the mid-level acts that were once part of the Gibson tour. Downtown is much easier to access for events than fighting up the 101. Even taking the Metro is easier to LA Live, because the Studio City station is at the bottom of that giant hill to walk up to Gibson. I still prefer the Gibson layout to Nokia, though. I'm not a fan of that short standing room area in Nokia.
