Walk in Walt's Footsteps is definately my favorite tour, but I'm interested to see what other people say.

July is almost certainly going to be crowded for several reasons, the main one being that lots of people are on summer break. Plan for very hot weather, and be sure to pack lots and lots of water! Hydration is something that is often understated to visitors that aren't from hot areas. Enjoy your trip!

I won't be able to help you as much as others ma be able to, since I don't know Disneyland very well (I've only been once). But as a general rule, Disney Parks are very crowded on Holidays, even more if that Holiday is during the summer.

I was afraid of that. And for the hydration factor, I live in Arizona, so Im used to bringing a lot of water with me anyways lol. Thank you for the tips!

If you're only there for one day, normally I'd say leave Pirates and HM until the end of the day. They're always quiet then. But with the new Pirates stuff, it'll probably still be busy.
No one's gloomy or complaining while the flatware's entertaining.

Pirates will almost certainly have fastpass back up. It'd be stupid not to, considering the size of crowds they're expecting, so definately consider taking advantage of that (especially if you make fastpasses the first thing you do when you enter the park, you'll have a better chance of getting them that way).

Shinku is right walk in Walt's is a great tour, three hours but you can find out many things that you would have to read in 20 books to find out. The heat is bad but remember that the CM is out there with you and wants to find the shady spots too. The day I did it it was 65 as the high and the sun was barely out so we had to find the sun to stay warm.

I was out there lastyear for the 50th and it WAS hot but if you stay hydrated and go into shops and on rides you will be fine. Here's some advice when you are trying to go down or up mainstreet go through the shops so you can stay in airconditioning for a good portion of the street.

OH and two words SUN BLOCK!!!!!! I forgot one day and my arms, neck, and face were burned.
