I don't know if any of you have Netflix, but there are a few hints and glimmers of what they plan to do with that budget of DCA - and with the inclusion of a Cars themed area, some nifty ideas on a 1920's Boardwalk style Mainstreet, and I even caught a glimpse of a Little Mermaid attraction that they'll be working on in the future for DCA

SO if you have Netflix go type in Disney and pull up the behind the scenes documentaries - I swear they feel like the Disney vacation videos and they are sure to make you smile when you begin to imagine what Walt's dream was - which was the idea that imagination never dies and that it's constantly evolving. There's a line from Meet the Robinson's that I absolutely love and cherish and it's "Keep Moving Forward." In every interview I've ever watched of Walt Disney ( and I've watched quite a few ) Walt was always interested in progress. Always pushing forward, but holding on to glimpses of the past as he did so - and so I hope that with this new DCA budget they come in, guns blazing, and give DCA a proper overhaul makeover that will really knock the pants off guys like you and I.
Here's to a Disney Boardwalk! Here's to a Little Mermaid ride that they'd never have been able to accomplish over in Fantasyland! Here's to new ideas, new adventures, and gosh darn it I believe quite possibly a new era for the Disney parks in general. Now if we can only get some of the newer Disney films to reach this calibur of inspiration I'd be set for life... I wonder how much money it would take to nudge them into going back to hand-drawn animation on a regular basis?
