just an FYI, I know that there are some new HMH tracks going into the playlist soon. The place I got them from indicates they're mostly from the 2002 - 2003 version...

I spoke once with a guy who worked for the company that supplied the bulbs to Disney. Let me see if I can dig up the information.

I have to say that I really like the Xmas Mansion thing (although I've only heard it here). The best thing about it is that it's a temporary change...no legacy destruction.

But I really like the way the old material is given respect, as opposed to the absolutely horrible new(ish) Tiki Room show in WDW.

That's the sort of thing I expect from Disney. How did they manage to do that under Eisner's reign of terror?
On the surface there is hunger and fear. Men still exercise unjust laws. They fight, tear one another to pieces. A mere few feet beneath the waves their reign ceases, their evil drowns. Here on the ocean floor is the only independence.

Changes again this year

I just got back from Disneyland and there are additional changes this year. In the ballroom, there is a big gingerbread house on the table with a man-eating wreath on it and there are more jack-o-lanterns around. This includes a suit-of-armor wearing a new pumpkin head. Also there is a new spiderweb floor in the foyer.

Yeah, HMH was great this year.
I really want to get those fake candle lights they have for my own haunt. Anybody know what they are? The look so real. I looked close up at one in a pumpkin and it looked like 3 led lights that would randomly come on to change the brightness.

I liked the ride this year, though I have been listening to the earlier music soundtrack so much I was disappointed at first with the new music but it grew on me.

The ending was a nice change from when I had last seen it, though I never got to "win".

My only complaint is the elevator pictures need to be repainted. They barely glow and are tough to determine what is on them even at night when your eyes are already dilated.

The friday of Veterans day the line snaked around the fountain and back towards the train, by far the longest I have ever seen it. (the park filled that day)
