Small World Holiday

Post by Esmeralda » Jan Thu 21, 2010 3:59 pm

I don't think there is a dedicated thread to this beloved holiday tradition.

A question for those in the know. When does Small World Holiday start? Mid-November? Anyone remember when it started last year? Thanks!
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

I believe it was closed October 26 through November 12 (?) for the holiday installation, and then re-opened on November 13 (?). Then closed back down on January 18 for its removal. Re-opening planned for January 29th (could change and be earlier). I put (?) on the info I have that's iffy. Anyone else can confirm the dates?

I looked on Micechat for the date it reopens and this is what I found:

"it's a small world": Closed through January 28 to remove holiday overlay.

I enjoy the slight music change for the Small World Holiday - sometimes I'll find myself singing "Jingle Shells, Jingle Shells"

I still watch this every once in awhile. I still get chills when I watch it.

I can take Small World Holiday better than I can take IASW. To me, the mood of the attraction works better during the holiday.

I feel the same way. I'm not much for the normal version of IASW.
