I love the Zephyr! I love the feel ing when you "fly" over the bay...so awesome!

I am so excited to see pics of WoC and the first tracks of Radiator Springs Racers! Even Silly Symphony Swings is looking good! (I must admit though, I liked Orange Stinger...especially when it first opened with the "bee butts")

I didn't get a chance to experience the Orange Stinger when they had the bee butts or the smell of the orange. I barely went to DCA in 2008ish.

It was closed during my trip to DCA, so I never got to do the Orange Stinger either.

Wow Red Car Trolly is making great progress. I definitely did not expect about half a block of track to be laid in the week. Appears that the Rivers of America refurb is kicking it into high gear. I noticed some lights for night time work in the pictures and it looks like the Mark Twain is all wrapped up for what I would presume is painting. And most importantly, the Zephyr got covered up. I didn't think Disney would want all that scaffolding being exposed to the general public.

I went to DCA this weekend after a 4 month hiatus, and I was blown away by all the construction! It's good to see some $$$ being put back into this poor redheaded stepchild of a park.

Hmm looks like this week was almost as expected. Work continues. No shots of the red car trolley progress though.

I was a bit disappointed when I didn't see anything on the red car trolley. I hope that some photos will appear next week.

Quick question. Is Matterhorn down for refurb every year?
We are all a little weird
And life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

Most of the rides are down every year just to do a quick refurbishment, I believe. They've been focusing most of this year so far on it since it was in dire need of one.
