Guess the Mark Twain can't be immune to adding the latest movie to it's venue................

Why not? The Disneyland counterpart is used in the finale of "Fantasmic" and the Columbia sailing vessel is used as Hook's Pirate Ship in "Fantasmic" as well. Everyone seemed to like that idea...

I guess I have a hard time with change  I don't know why, cause Peter Pan, Alice, Snow White, etc were all from Disney Movies. I don't know what my problem is, but when I read that article I was like OH GOOD GRIEF not another thing changing. I think I have issues ... LOL

Fantasmic's changed quite a bit to begin with. They've added some new things not too long ago.

Tiana's Showboat Jubilee show is not a permanent change. It's a temporary "overlay" just for the show - it's still the Mark Twain.

I can handle the overlays  seriously though I don't know why I was so bummed about it when I first read it. I am ok with it now. Must be hormonal :!: HA :!:

Our family likes little things like this that they do in the park. It is nice to have a new little nugget to see when we take our annual trip and it makes the expense of the annual pass and travel seem worth it since we are not just going to see the exact same thing over and over.

I actually would like to see the overlay for the Jubilee (fingers crossed), but I am glad it is just going to be an overlay. I feel the say way about HMH...I like it, but only for the holidays...as long as they give back the original HM, it's ok.

The one thing that has me a little miffed is the meet and greet location. I love the Court of Angels as a quiet little spot away from the hustle and bustle and it's a beautiful location for pictures. But I hope it too is a temporary location...it gets crowded enough in the narrow streets, imagine what the crowds would be like if there were a permanent meet and greet there.

I have no problem with it being in NOS...after all, the movie takes place in NO, it's perfect! But I think it's going to be too crowded...

Ok, I'm done ranting... Sorry about that!

I think it will be a good change, but maybe not a permanent one hopefully

I must say, the whole thing looks amazing! Too bad for me it ends January 1st...wish I could see it at least once in person.

As long as I get my Court des Anges back safe and sound, no one gets hurt.

Just saw the Jubilee this past weekend. I thought it was very well done and fun to watch. I liked how the performers start near the dock, then board the boat in a procession. I also thought it was a very classy touch to have a live band perform with the singers.

Seeing the show and listening to the new songs makes me want to see this film even more now.

Why are they pushing this so hard? It's puzzling.
