It's odd, because even though I am younger, my two decades worth of experience, seem to be far more than that when it comes to Disney parks and Disney history. I remember as a kid I used to watch Vault Disney, Disney cartoons, etc., etc. and claim up and down to my mom and dad how much I wanted to work at the parks, or how much I wanted to be an animator for Disney.
So what I'm saying, I may be young, but I feel like I know enough history to back when the park first began, and that's very cool for me personally. If I had a choice to go back in time and see/experience any ride - I'd probably choose:
The very first release of Pirates of the Caribbean ( Pre- JS days. )
The Carossel of Progress - I love that song, but never got to experience the ride!
Body Works - Huge fan of SNL, and I was far too young to go on this ride when it first came out, but I would have loved it if I could.
The innagural ribbon cutting for DL. ( I swear I have his speech on CD, and it makes me tear up every time for some reason I can't place )

I agree that Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland is one that I've always wanted to experience since I was a little kid and saw video of it on "Disney Presents"
. Thanks to Subsonic Radio, I know would have loved to visit the Frito Kid and Klondike as well.
Of course, the one HUGE one for me since I can remember would be doing the Flying Saucers

I too would have loved the experience the Flying Saucers...and from what I understand in the plans for Carsland is a ride that is supposed to have the same kind of technology. I think it's Luigi's Flying Tires or something like that.
Looking so forward to it!!!! There was so much focus on the Radiator Springs Racers at the D23 Expo, that I completely forgot about it and didn't ask the Imagineer that was there about it to get more details...dang!

Hey, Moviemaker137, I think if there was a time machine going back to DL's first day it would have to be super large transport! I think for most theme park fans it would be the coolest thing to actually witness if one could.
Also, for me, I would like to go back in time when EuroDisney (now Disneyland Paris) first opened so I could hear the Phantom Manor with the originl Vincent Price narration. I saw it personally in french, but after hearing the VP version on CD, I would love to hear it at the attraction too.

I wish i could see the tahitian terrace show again and the golden horseshoe as it was when i was a child and also the old Alice in wonderland with the upside down room!!!The store I wish was back was the perfume shop in New orleans (the name escapes me right now ) I always wanted to get my own perfume mix there ...never did

It's funny how appreciation grows the older we get...I remember going on all of these as a child, (except TT...my parents never went there and I don't know why) and at the time I figured they'd always be there no big deal. Then lo and behold, one day we go back to the park and they're gone!michelesanchez wrote:I f I could go back it would be to the last times I went on America Sings, mission to mars,Monsantos Ride thru inner space,The people mover ,Country Bears ,the original submarines, motor boat cruise, and the skyway and especially the rockets when you used to have to take the elevator up to get to them. All of the attractions that I went on as a child and that are revamped now or gone !!!! The one I really wish I could remember was the original Golden Horseshoe Revue with Wally Boag. What an amazing talent! I had no clue who he was as a kid....

I remember once when I was maybe 6 or 7, we went on the Skyway and it stopped inside of the Matterhorn right where we could see and hear the Snowman. I had always been too scared to go on the Matterhorn, but after hanging there for 5 minutes...there was no way I was going on that ride!
...and I didn't til I was 12.

Adventure Thru Inner Space
PeopleMover
Carousel of Progress
Rocket Jets
Tomorrowland Stage
Coca-Cola Terrace Stage
America Sings
Skyway to Tomorrowland
Country Bear Jamboree
Swiss Family Treehouse

Likewise, here's my list for WDW (rides/attractions I have experienced and would love to ride again):
If You Had Wings
Alien Extraterrorestial Encounter
Transportarium: From Time to Time
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
Skyway Express
Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
Enchanted Tiki Birds (before new management)
Journey Into Imagination (Dreamfinder)
Horizons
World of Motion
Body Wars
Cranium Command
I could throw in Dreamflight, but to be honest, I didn't like it so I was glad to see it go. Also, I could include Universe of Energy, but the original ride was so boring.
