It is an amazing set - the book and CDs are excellent. Considering you pay $20 a CD at the parks normally it is a good deal. Highly recommended from one who is very cheap.

Just a quick plug for this 6-CD set. I'd highly recommend buying it to anyone who loves Disney music. First, it's incredible. Second, it shows Disney that there's a market for this kind of stuff and hopefully they'll release more of it for us to buy. Personally, I wish they'd release disks of the background music loops.
Yeah, they should hire me full time to run a site like this. It would bring so many more visitors to the parks. People are constantly saying that they want to visit again after hearing the audio.

Wouldn't that be nice? I know I get in the mood of wanting to visit, but I must admit, I use the site as a "virtual visit" as I really can't pick up and go to a park.subsonic wrote:Yeah, they should hire me full time to run a site like this. Here's what little I know about marketing. The goals of marketing are to: 1) Make people aware that your product exists.subsonic wrote:Yeah, they should hire me full time to run a site like this. 2) Make people want to buy your product.
3) If you're really good, you get people to think about your product all the time.
Sounds like Disney should hire you Sub. You've succeeded on all three for me!

Maybe it's time to play the 50th Retrospective again.

We'd bought this when they came out, before we'd found our way to this site. So our cassette tape copy of the CDs plays in the car when we're not online to listen to the station

I'm working on upgrading the scheduled stream and plan on playing Tracks like the Musical History of Disneyland and Disneyland a Retrospective in full once a month.Guy wrote:Looking forward to hearing these on SR.
