64k - 24k Streaming Servers IP Change

For those of you that have bookmarked, saved playlist, or whatever the IP address of the 64k and 24k servers have changed. The listen links on the left navigation have the new IPs.

Relayers, please update your IPs

Those servers switched to a new host.

For the Windows Media Player you have to copy the stream you want, open as a URL in WMP, paste the stream, remove the .pls extension from the name before entering and it should work from there. Is there any way to get the text info on each selection in WMA the same as you get in Real Player?

Or you could read the FAQ page and copy&paste the direct URLs from in there

Those URL's haven't been update to the new addy yet. The way I did it was to go to the home page, right click the desired speed on the left hand side, select "properties" and then copy the "http" link right up until the last /.

(This is for the 64k link)

Example...... http://216.176.96.16:8004

or right click on the link tell it Copy Shourtcut then open Windows Media and tell it open URL and then paste. Just delete the listen.pls and press enter now your set. I would say save it as a playlist and your good.

This is actually nice because I can now stream at a higher rate on my Windows Media Player, 64k is better than 24k!

Only the IP's changed. Why weren't you using the 64k before?

I thought that the only stream for Media player was the 24k. Was the 64k stream available before on WMP?

I believe so, I think the 56k stream doesnt' work though

yes all three streams are able to be ran using WMP

Is there something wrong with the 128k stream? It's not showing up on the webpage. Does that mean it's currently inactive? I'm pretty new to this whole online radio thing so I still have a few questions about the technology. Thanks for the awesome site!
