Jacca, hands down, the best ride I've even been on. It sets the bar very high. It's very tough to "wow" me these days and I have to say I was truly WOW'd by HP. I will now always make sure to make some time to visit IoA when I plan a WDW trip.

This is why I'm going to try and incorporate HP when I go back to WDW since I didn't do it the last time.

There is no try. You must do! Seriously, it's worth it.

My last two trips to WDW I ended the vacation with Universal, staying at a hotel there. Would do a day in Universal Studios and a day in Islands of Adventure. I think my next visit, I'm just going to stay at WDW and cab it to IoA for a long day there. But, without a doubt, I'm going to make time to go to IoA.

You might not have to if your next trip to WDW will be after 2014, which supposedly is when the USH one will open.

Perhaps, but they still don't have Spider-Man and that Atlantis thing. Also, i don't know why it's been lately, but it seems that subsequent versions of the ride seem to be sub-par to the originals. This holds true for both Disney and Universal. For example: Tower of Terror, Toy Story(the queue), Mummy, to name a few.

Part of the reason is space since the original had a massive footprint, and the other is that the tech might not be as good as the engineers had hoped for. Remember that TDS, who threw tons of money into the park, elected not to use the rolling elevators either. Also, we can't really put Toy Story on the list of replicas since they opened only a few weeks apart.

Either way I will try and do both just because Orlando is the original one. I don't know how often I'd go to USH.

I rode it. It was was fun but so over the top and frenetic it was difficult to really get into it. Fun nonetheless, but not Disney quality.
