New Stream Options

Not only did I add a few tracks last night, but I also with help from Sami( he donates the BGM relay) added different bitrates for the background stream.

So new we have the background stream in 96k, 64k, and 24k.

Please test the new Schedule and Background streams and let me know if there are any issues.

I also want to give a big shout out to all our relay hosts: Joe Fox, Sami, Loneplam. Jimi, Jcodirewolf. Without their very generous bandwidth donations Subsonicradio would not exist.

I listened to the background stream in 64k today in the car and it worked well for me. I like having the lower bandwidth options since cell reception around here can be iffy. Thanks!

So far so good. All streams recognized on the iPhone app. Great to have some variety at the lower bandwidth now!

We are still working out some issues with the background stream options. As a result its back to just the one 96k stream. I also adjusted the sch and request streams to be 48k, and 96k. These two stream rates gives us the best flexibility and quality. We are hoping to get the background 48k up soon.

That is a great idea! I definitely like the idea of having 48K and 96K. The 24K stream was just too tinny and wasting bandwidth for the most part.

Don't say this enough, THANK YOU so much for all the behind the scenes activity, that I don't know about or understand.. Without you, I couldn't listen and enjoy the wonderful streams!!
