Re: Incidents at Disneyland
I remember reading all those incidents and ones at other parks one night at around 1am out of boredom. Fascinating read yet tragic with majority of the circumstances.

I was working Star Tours the day of the Columbia incident. Was pretty crazy.

Re: Incidents at Disneyland
I was in Disney World when the monorail incident happened and they really tried to put it business as usual. However, there was an ominous feeling that day and the CMs were just not the same for a couple of days following it. I wonder if that is how it was for the Columbia incident at DLR.subsonic wrote:I was working Star Tours the day of the Columbia incident. Was pretty crazy.

Re: Incidents at Disneyland
Sad and depressing, yet highly interesting...I remember hearing about the Columbia and BTMRR accidents...that was during the time we had AP's and found ourselves at the park every other month or so. (I'm sure we saw you at some point, Sub) I can't believe it's been so long since those 2 incidents...it doesn't seem that long ago.

Agreed, I was there as well on my CP and of course, knowing the CM who was killed only made it worse. I cried for two days afterward. It definitely killed the magic for a couple days among the CMs.Len90 wrote:I was in Disney World when the monorail incident happened and they really tried to put it business as usual. I was surprised to read that the child injured on Roger Rabbit lived for almost 9 years but never recovered. Tragic.
No one's gloomy or complaining while the flatware's entertaining.
